A field research survey regarding “Sustainable Livelihoods and Green Development Strategies in Environmentally-Economically Vulnerable Areas” was conducted by UNEP-IEMP on 18-23 September 2019 in Guangxi, China. 10 villages in Guangxi were selected as sample villages. 22 senior and master students from Guangxi University and Guangxi University for Nationalities interviewed 10 village cadres and 100 farmers face to face, to collect the information on the village and their households respectively. The overall goal of the field research survey was to find out the ecosystem situation and livelihood status of farmers in environmentally-economically vulnerable areas and provide a scientific basis for promoting the sustainable livelihoods under climate change situation.
