The EbA South project has been selected to feature in “South-South Cooperation in Action: Stories of Success”, by the South-South Cooperation Unit of the Policy and Programme Division of UNEP. The document presents selected stories of what can be achieved through the deliberate design and implementation of projects that encourage the exchange of knowledge among developing countries in order to promote South-South cooperation to meet the SDGs, fulfill climate-related commitments, and safeguard biodiversity. EbA South is presented under the case “Strengthening climate resilience through healthy ecosystems”. The full publication is available here.

EbA South is a full-sized GEF project, funded through the Special Climate Change Fund, and implemented by UNEP. UNEP-IEMP provides overall project management services, technical support and fosters South-South linkages for the project.
